December 9-17 The notoriously fat, drunken, and lecherous Sir John Falstaff arrives in the town of Windsor short on cash, and decides to earn some money by seducing two different married women simultaneously. These two “Merry Wives” discover their mutual wooer, and decide to play into his advances so they can ridicule him, and hijinks ensue. Also it just happens to be the holiday season, and the fat knight happens to bear a striking resemblance to a certain jolly old elf in a red suit.
Bare Bones Shakespeare is excited to celebrate the holidays with this seasonal version of The Merry Wives of Windsor, done it our signature Company Directed style (which is based on Shakespeare’s rehearsal process, and directed by the actors!)
